Obituary: Eva B. Faehner

Eva B. Faehner(nee Bortniak), 77, of Haddonfield, died on Monday. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Faehner; beloved mother of Mary Ellen Goldman of Whitestone, NY, Tim E. Faehner of Swedesboro, Lauralyn Faehner of Haddonfield and David J. Faehner of Oaklyn, NJ; loving grandmother of Stephanie Faehner, Colin Goldman, Timothy Faehner and Calli Goldman.  Eva was very involved with her children's activities growing up. She was cookie chairman for the Girl Scouts, volunteered every year to help out at the little league concession stands and was a Central/Lizzie Haddon School room mother who always found time to help with any cause.  After her children had grown she worked in the international trade field in the export department.  She was…

Capt. Jerome Frederick Lundgren (ret.), 82, of Magnolia, DE, (formerly of Haddonfield), died on Sunday, May 13, 2012. He was a loving husband of Marion (nee Tomlinson); father to Kristine Mavraganis  and her husband Gus of Portland, OR, and Kenneth of Granbury, TX; step daughters Sherri Rader and her husband John of Haddon Township and Kimberly Mayo of Haddon Township; nine grandchildren. Jerry faithfully served his country in the military for 45 years retiring 1991 as a captain in the Coast Guard. Obituary: Judge John McFeeley

John McFeeley. III, Esq., 73, of Haddon Township and formerly of Medford Lakes, died on Monday, May 14. He was a retired presiding judge of municipal courts. Judge McFeeley is the brother of Cathy McFeeley Fox (Frederick S. Fox, III), and Mary Elizabeth McFeeley, both of Cherry Hill, uncle of Carey, Katy and John Fox and great uncle of Zachary Fox DeVol.  Judge McFeeley was a graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Lafayette College and Seton Hall Law School. Between college and law school, he served in the Army and worked for Johnson & Johnson.  Judge McFeeley had a long career in legal services in Camden County.  He served as a public defender, in the prosecutors office, and as a Jjudge in several of the county’s municipalities.  …

PHILLPS B. SCOTT, 79, of Haddonfield, died Friday. The long-time borough resident was the beloved husband for 54 years of Judith J. (nee Parsell); loving father of Michael R. of Malvern, PA, David A. (Daneen) of Haddonfield, Linda Scott Lane (Cliff Lane, M.D.) of Cabin John, MD and Amy Scott-Billman (Paul Billman) of Berwyn, PA; devoted grandfather of 7: Natalie, Benjamin & Jennifer Scott, Elizabeth & Katie Billman and Emily & Claire Lane and brother of Richard of Raleigh, NC.  Mr. Scott graduated from Penn State, class of 1955 and received his M.S in Electrical Engineering from Drexel.  He was a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association.  Mr. Scott enjoyed a long career as an electrical engineer beginning in 1955 at RCA.  He …

Reports: TV's Dick Clark Dead at 82

The legendary host reportedly suffered a heart attack.

Legendary television personality Dick Clark has died, according to several new outlets, including the Huffington Post. He was 82. Clark reportedly suffered a heart attack Wednesday, a day after undergoing an outpatient procedure at a Los Angeles area hospital. Clark had strong area connections, having hosted the popular show American Bandstand in Philadelphia from 1952 until it moved to Hollywood in 1964. He owned a home in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, PA. In 2004, Clark suffered a stroke and was forced to retire from New Year's Rockin' Eve, an ABC show he created and hosted since 1972. Gloria R. Birsner(nee Casazza),87, a Haddonfield resident for over 50 years, died  Thursday. Wife of the late Edwin E. Nirsner.  Mrs. Birsner is the beloved mother of Suzanne P. Derham (Greg), of Cherry Hill, and Regina K. Brozo (Ron), of Marlton, and the late Robert Birsner.  Devoted grandmother of Jeff, Brooke, Mark, Kimberly, Pamela, Roark, Faye and Claire and loving great grandmother of 6. Also survived by her brother, William T.
