AMC Renews 'Comic Book Men' for Second Season

Any details about possible changes remain sparse, but the show, filmed at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, is coming back.

Everyone's favorite Red Bank-based comic book reality television show, Comic Book Men, is coming back for a second season, AMC recently announced. The shop, where the reality TV show is filmed, is located in downtown Red Bank, Monmouth County.  Comic Book Men's first season consisted of six one-hour episodes that revolved around the shop and the exploits of real friends and (sometime) employees of the Stash: Walt Flanagan, Bryan Johnson, Ming Chen and Mike Zapcic. …

Montclair Mom Set Loose at Bruce Concert

Amy Chiarello Barnett writes about one of the top 10 greatest nights of her life

I have always loved the music of “The Boss,” although I cannot take credit for being one of “those” fans. The die-hards who know every album, can argue song lyrics and set lists and tour dates and such. On Wednesday night, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played for the first time at the Prudential Center in Newark. And I was there. My invitation to Wednesday night’s show came via my well-connected friend Kathy. Her late night text message asking “What are you doing tomorrow night?” set into motion one of the Top Ten All Time Greatest Nights of My Entire Life. The pre-married, …

are to have the dedicated volunteers of the Historical Society, etc. preserving Haddonfield's past. I've lived on Lee Avenue for 27 years, and Evans Pond is a wonderful asset to the neighborhood, as was the Methodist Cemetery. But, as most of you know that piece of history.....is history!
